WG189BIF Water Filters
Remove Iron, Manganese and Sulphur Without Chemicals
The BIF uses a two-tank design to remove stubborn iron, manganese and sulfur without chemicals. The first tank contains a pocket of compressed air that precipitates the iron into solid form. The second tank removes the solidified iron as it passes through the media bed. The media acts as a catalyst in the reaction between iron and oxygen that also causes the iron to precipitate into a solid.

Key Features
Natural Oxidation: Removes iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) without chemicals, air pumps or a venturi.
High Flow Rates: For large residential & commercial applications.
Efficient Regeneration: The BIF regenerates less frequently and uses up to 50% less water than single-tank iron filters. Periodic automatic regeneration replenishes the supply of oxygen and removes iron from the media bed.
